An Hour at the Cross (Traditional), St James Church
A moving and thought provoking service with well-known hymns and readings accompanied by reflective pieces sung by the choir and a short talk that will help us reflect on the significance of Jesus’ crucifixion.
An Hour at the Cross (Contemporary), The Saint James Centre
A contemplative service using the arts and contemporary settings of well-known hymns and songs to give us new perspectives on the Cross of Jesus. There will be a short talk and time to be still and reflect on the events of Good Friday.
9.30am – 10.30am
Children’s Hour at the Cross, The Saint James Centre
Three age specific groups for children aged 0-11 alongside the 9.30am Hour at the Cross. A reflective, child appropriate, interactive opportunity for children to engage with Good Friday; activities, music and stories included. Registration opens at 9.15am in the Saint James Centre.

Well known Easter hymns and Easter Bible readings and prayers with Holy Communion and a talk to help us reflect on the Good News of Easter Day.
11.00am – 12.00noon
Family Services for Easter Day
Bring friends, family and children for the all-age service of Easter songs and interactive re-telling of the Easter Day story. There will be one service in Church and one in the Saint James Centre so there is room for everyone.
6.30pm – 8.00pm
Contemporary Easter Celebration Service
A lively and thought provoking Easter Day celebration with contemporary songs, a talk and adult baptisms.
