Living Water evening – come and worship and pray together
Prayer has to be at the heart of everything we do as a church. If St James, as a church, is to ‘do the good works that God has prepared in advance for us to do’ (Eph. 2:10), then we need to know what those good works are, and petition Him to lead us in doing them.
To this end, on Monday 15th and Monday 22nd January, we will be holding holding our termly “Living Water” Worship and Prayer evenings. The 15th will be a 2-hour worship and prayer event, for adults, from 8-10pm, at which Martin will also share some updates regarding the vision of our church, and what we believe God is calling us to. The 22nd will be an event designed for families to pray and worship together, from 5pm to 6.15pm. Both events will take place in the St James Centre.
We will be encouraging Life Groups to make this their meeting for that week, and we would love to see as many of you there as possible. This is a wonderful opportunity to gather together, as the people of God, and to ask Him to move in our church, and our wider community. Prayermakes a difference!
