Church Operations Manager
Reporting to the Rector, the Church Operations Manager will take an executive role in overseeing the operational life of St James ensuring that all support resources are made available and managed effectively for all areas of ministry.
You will lead an Operations team, other staff and many volunteers responsible for weekly events, finance and a broad range of operational matters. As such, you will bring excellent administration, team-working and decision-making skills to the role.

St James Church in Gerrards Cross and Fulmer is offering a one-year training opportunity for three Ministry Assistants (Interns) from September 2017.
A year as a Ministry Assistant at St James is all about taking time to grow, go deeper with God, learn more of what it means to serve Him and the people around you, and use the gifts He has given you. You will have the opportunity to serve in practical ways, to develop your gifts in a specific ministry area, to explore your calling and deepen your faith and discipleship. You will work alongside experienced staff members and volunteers.
Ministry Assistants will have weekly supervision and support with their ministry area supervisor and also with the Events Coordinator. They will attend the weekly staff meeting and one-to-one mentoring with a mature Christian is arranged for all volunteers. Accommodation and living allowance are also provided.
We are looking for three Ministry Assistants for the following areas:
– Children’s Ministry
– Youth Ministry
– Worship, Media and Technology.
