More about Alpha
“Alpha is special. It gave me an opportunity to really look at who I am and who Jesus is.”
If you are enquiring about, uncertain or are just getting going in the Christian faith we would be pleased to invite you to join the next Alpha course at Saint James in Gerrards Cross.
Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life. It consists of a series of talks looking at topics such as ‘Who is Jesus?’ and ‘Why and how should I pray?’ and provides the option of a day away. Every week there is a short talk followed by an opportunity for discussion and questions in small groups.
We run Alpha courses on Sunday mornings at 10:15am and Thursday mornings at 9.30am. A well-run crèche is available on Thursday mornings.
The Alpha courses run three times a year, starting in mid-September, mid-January and early May.

After Alpha
There is the opportunity after Alpha, to continue exploring and growing in the Christian life. This happens in Life Groups that are formed around specific materials to help and encourage those who are new to the Christian faith.
For more information or to register, please use the contact form below or phone Jane in the church office (01753 278953).
