ALPHA – Alpha runs worldwide and this short video explains why people find it useful
What is Alpha?
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions to discuss the Christian faith in an informal, fun and friendly environment.
Alpha consists of 10 sessions, looking at a different topic each week, and includes one Saturday morning. Alpha starts with coffee and cakes, then we watch a 25 minute film on the topic and follow this with a discussion in small groups.
You don’t have to come for the whole term – just pop along for the first session and see what you think. No pressure, no follow up and no charge.
Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for everyone; no question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We don’t assume any background knowledge of or belief in Christianity and everyone is welcome.
