“What is Alpha?”
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions to discuss the Christian faith in an informal, fun and friendly environment. Alpha consists of eleven sessions, looking at topics including ‘Who is Jesus?’ and ‘Why and how do I pray?’.
Alpha is for everyone; no question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We don’t assume any background knowledge of or belief in Christianity and everyone is welcome.
You don’t have to come for the whole term – just pop along for the first session and see what you think. No pressure, no follow up and no charge.
“What is the first session going to be like?”
Andrew and Jane Ditty moved to Gerrards Cross seven years ago and previously lived in Hong Kong, Wiltshire and London. Andrew, who grew up in Northern Ireland, works for BP and is at present facing some serious health issues. A keen sportsman, he coaches the Spitfires, one of the Saint James football teams. With three boys, Jane can be found cheering them on from the side-lines of football, rugby or cross country or getting exercise herself by walking Roxy, the dog.
