A rare and exciting opportunity to hear Martin Williams interview Canon Andrew White – the “Vicar of Baghdad” – and share a Middle Eastern supper. Canon White leads one of the largest churches in Iraq which operates well outside the safety of the International Green Zone. He lives and works under constant threat of personal danger and his church has been bombed repeatedly. In addition to his church responsibilities, Canon White is also President of the Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East, an organisation which forges reconciliation by engaging religious leaders in dialogue, helping them to use their influence to promote peace in this hugely troubled area.

HTB Leadership Conference Royal Albert Hall May 14-15th

Being held in the iconic Royal Albert Hall in central London. We are expecting thousands of leaders from the church and workplace communities to join together for this very special event.

There will be something for everyone, from every facet of leadership, with over 50 seminars planned in our four streams:

• Community
• Church
• Culture

Confirmed speakers for our 2012 event already include Judah Smith, Christine Caine, Nicky Gumbel and Pete Greig and we have many more high profile leaders from the fields of social action, politics, the arts, the church, and business on board. We are really excited about this UK leadership event and if we can get 20 delegates to commit by March 12th we will get a super rate of £65 for the two days. Come and hear Professor Russell Cowburn FRS, Director of Research at Cambridge University’s Cavendish Laboratory.

Russell is a physicist who specialises in the area of nanotechnology. As a Christian who is also a scientist, he is well placed to address this controversial area, and has debated leading atheist Lewis Wolpert in the past. Presentation followed by Q & A, with refreshments.
