Showing God’s love for all creation – in nearby Southall and worldwide: A Rocha (arocha.org) is an international Christian organization which, inspired by God’s love, engages in scientific research, environmental education and community-based conservation projects. A Rocha is motivated by the biblical belief that this is God’s creation, entrusted to our care.
Reaching people, planting churches: WEC’s (wecinternational.org.uk) primary goal is to bring the gospel to cultures and peoples who have yet to receive it, and to see churches start and grow among them. WEC is involved in evangelism, church planting and theological education as well as drug rehabilitation, medical and development work.
Christians Passionate about Ending Poverty: Tearfund (tearfund.org)has a big vision which we’ve been bringing into being since 1968. We know there’s God-given-potential in poor communities. We work with local churches to unlock this potential and we’ve seen millions escape extreme poverty – permanently. Rescuing street children in South America: Toybox (toybox.org.uk) is a Christian charity committed to helping street living and street working children and those at risk of becoming so, principally in Latin America. We support a comprehensive rescue and rehabilitation programme for street children with street team, day centre, hostel, family style children’s homes and special school.
Equipping and Inspiring men and women for Bible teaching ministries in South Africa: Nat, Helen and family live in Johannesburg, South Africa where they run the Johannesburg Bible College (jbc.org.za). The college equips and inspires men and women for Bible teaching ministry. We run courses in handling God’s word and connecting it to South African Society in three locations in and around Johannesburg and currently reach well over 100 students every week. We also have a distance learning project that is teaching students and churches who are too far away to travel to our campuses.
