  • Why come on the course?

    Risk-taking is a normal part of growing up, as is stretching the boundaries, and it can be difficult as a parent to know how to respond. On the course you discuss the challenges and learn from each other’s experiences.

  • Who is it for?

    Ideal for parents or carers of children in school Year 5 to Year 9 but relevant for older teenagers as well.

  • Who designed the course and who is running it?

    The charity Care for the Family originally designed the course in Australia. The course has been tailored for our area. Local presenters, who have been trained by Care for the Family, guide you through the course.

  • What’s involved?

    Sessions are interactive, in a relaxed setting, with opportunities to discuss the issues raised in small groups.
